Sylvia D. Stephens was elected to the Office of Supervisor of Elections in 1988 and took office in 1989. Sylvia is married to Henry Stephens and is the proud mother of three children and grandmother of five grandchildren. She attended Chipola Junior College and is a State certified Supervisor of Elections. Prior to becoming Supervisor of Elections, Sylvia worked in the family owned business, the Jackson County School System and several years at Daffin Mercantile Company.
